Job Description BAE Systems under the High-Performance Computing Modernization Program Integrated Technical Services Contract II (HITS-U II) directly supports the DoW's High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) mission. We deliver world-class commercial, high-end, high-performance computational capabilities to the Department of Defense's (DoD's) Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) community at the DoD Supercomputing Resource Centers (DSRCs) Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills. Currently we are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to support systems across the program. This is a 100% virtual position with the possibility of very little travel (less than 10%). A successful candidate should be customer service oriented, attentive to detail, self-motivated and work well in teams. Flexibility in approach to finding solutions, the ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities and learn new technologies quickly. You will also need to be willing to respond to occasional off-hours outages and take part in subsequent service restoration efforts. As ACT1's senior IT professional supporting the TSC, you will work closely with the ACT1 team, the Government IT team, the Associate Director of Mission Support and other TSC leaders. - Administrator for a MS Azure GCC High cloud environment. - Assist w/ the administration of the government NIPRNET and SIPRNET networks, as required. - Serve as the TSC point of contact for all IT initiatives and the escalation point for Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues; propose IT solutions for the TSC. - Manage user accounts on multiple network enclaves and ensure proper documentation is completed IAW Department of War and other federal regulations. - Coordinate with internal and external USG IT departments and offices to ensure the TSC GCC environment is compliant with Department of War instructions, regulations and cyber technical orders; provide team IT support as required or requested. - Set up, establish and run program IT, to include supporting virtual distance learning programs via various means.
