Qualifications - Fokus auf Performance: - Du weißt, was im Ad Account funktioniert und was nicht. - Du hast gelernt, wie sehr Editing über Erfolg oder Misserfolg entscheidet. - Agenturerfahrung: - Mindestens 2 Jahre in einer (Performance-) Marketingagentur oder einem E-Commerce Unternehmen. - Du kennst die Dynamik, das Tempo und die Standards. - Breites Skillset - echter Anspruch: - Adobe, Figma & GenAI - deine Tools beherrschst du mit Souveränität und Liebe zum Detail. - Gleichzeitig bist du immer offen für Neues. - Sprache & Standort: - Du sprichst und schreibst fließend Deutsch. - Idealerweise bist du in Berlin zuhause (oder bereit regelmäßig herzukommen). - Ownership: - Du bist pragmatisch, strukturiert und hast Bock, in einem kleinen, starken Team Verantwortung zu übernehmen. - Du willst den Bereich maßgeblich prägen und mit aufbauen. • Proactively pitch specific, actionable video execution concepts to achieve marketing goals • Partner with the Creative Director to review, refine, and provide feedback on scripts and storyboards • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and marketers to ensure videos align with broader campaign objectives • Work cross-collaboratively to plan and develop executive level videos for social and other PR platforms as needed • Develop a clear understanding of our product suite to enable execution of high-quality product centric videos • Create videos to support our daily all-company meetings • Own the end-to-end editing process for short-form and mid-form marketing videos • Collaborate, plan, compose and deliver daily video introductions for our corporate daily briefing calls • Design, animate, and integrate high-quality motion graphics, kinetic typography, and lower thirds • Establish and enforce standard file-naming conventions and folder structures • Maintain, back up, and organize the brand's master digital media library and raw footage archives • Ensure all visual assets strictly adhere to corporate brand guidelines, color palettes, and tone of voice. • Tailor video aspect ratios, pacing, and export settings specifically for diverse channels
Role Description This is a freelance engagement supporting the personal brand of Zainab Mounabbah, cofounder and Chief Marketing Officer of Hyprwork, a fast-growing operator of direct-to-consumer health and wellness brands, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe honoree. Zainab is launching a new interview-style podcast and is looking for a skilled video editor to turn raw recording footage into polished, YouTube-ready episodes, along with short-form clips for social. The series features founders, creators, and operators in conversation, and the editing needs to feel modern, premium, and consistent from the very first episode. What You Will Own - Editing full-length podcast episodes from raw footage into polished, YouTube-ready videos. - Multi-camera syncing, cutting for pace and clarity, and removing dead air, filler, and mistakes. - Cleaning and balancing audio across speakers, reducing noise, and ensuring broadcast-quality sound. - Color correcting and grading footage for a consistent, premium look across the series. - Adding intros and outros, lower thirds, guest name graphics, titles, chapter markers, captions and subtitles, B-roll, and light motion graphics that reinforce the brand. - Producing short-form vertical clips from each episode for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. - Exporting and delivering files to the correct specifications for each platform. - Organizing footage and project files, managing versions, and incorporating revision rounds efficiently. - Maintaining a consistent visual identity and raising the production quality of the channel over time. Qualifications - Proven experience editing podcasts or long-form interview content, with a portfolio or reel of published episodes you can share. - Fluent English, spoken and written, to follow conversational content, write and clean up captions, and communicate directly with the host. - Expert command of a professional editing suite such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. - After Effects or equivalent motion-graphics skills a strong plus. - Confidence with multi-camera editing, audio cleanup, and color grading. - Experience cutting short-form vertical clips for social from long-form footage. - Comfort with captioning and subtitling. - A strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and a modern, premium aesthetic. - Reliability, clear communication, and the ability to hit deadlines while working remotely and async. - Ability to overlap with a UAE and Europe-friendly window for occasional live communication with the host.
