Coursera
Role Description As a Principal Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Coursera’s product vision, delivering exceptional learner and partner experiences, and driving measurable business impact. You will operate at the intersection of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, navigating ambiguity while influencing cross-functional teams. - Customer-Centric Curiosity: Exhibit deep curiosity to understand customers and all elements influencing their experience, offering comprehensive, integrated solutions that address real needs. - Thriving in Ambiguity: Operate effectively in uncertain, fast-changing environments, as often found in startup-like situations. - Balanced Skills vs. Domain Experience: While domain expertise is beneficial, strong intellectual capacity, curiosity, proactiveness, and solid foundational product skills enable quick adaptation even without prior domain exposure. - Strategic & Tactical Agility: Seamlessly switch between defining long-term vision and deep-diving into execution details when required. - IC Excellence: As an individual contributor, comfortably navigate between strategy and execution to deliver impact. - Integrated Experience Design: A track record of designing end-to-end integrated experiences is a strong plus. - Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with tools in the PM space, such as Jira, Figma or generative AI tools, though tool-specific experience is less crucial. - Speed of Innovation: Demonstrates the ability to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate solutions to keep pace with evolving customer needs and emerging technologies. Responsibilities - Define and drive product strategy and own the roadmap for a high priority area of the Coursera platform, such as mobile, AI-powered assessment or agentic enterprise integration. - Translate customer insights and market trends into integrated solutions that can scale to serve millions of learners and customers around the world. - Lead execution from ideation and analysis through development and launch, delivering measurable outcomes. - Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to deliver AI-powered product features and experiences. - Leverage data and customer feedback to inform decisions and continuously improve. - Mentor peers and contribute to building a high-performing product organisation. Qualifications - 8+ years of product management experience, with a meaningful portion in assessment, measurement, or skills validation products. - Experience building, using, or experimenting or shipping AI-powered or LLM-integrated products, including familiarity with LLM-as-judge evaluation methods and their failure modes. - Deep understanding of how skill and competency measurement works — not just completion tracking, but defensible claims of capability. - Demonstrated ability to define rubrics, evaluation frameworks, or structured measurement systems at scale. - Strong external communication skills; able to represent product methodology credibly to enterprise security teams, skeptical customers, and regulatory reviewers. - Proven track record moving quickly in an early-stage or startup-pace environment while maintaining rigor. Nice to haves - Background in or exposure to psychometrics, learning science, industrial-organizational psychology, or talent assessment. - Familiarity with the EU AI Act, particularly high-risk classification implications for AI systems used in employment or skills contexts. - Experience working with SME panels, grader programs, or human-in-the-loop calibration workflows. - Prior work in skills-based hiring platforms or enterprise skills frameworks. - Familiarity with NCME or the broader measurement and assessment professional community. - Experience bridging academic rigor with commercial shipping deadlines. Role Description We're looking for the first Senior Product Manager to join our team. You'll work directly with our founders, engineering team, business leaders, and consultants to turn Veroa's product vision into products people genuinely want to use. You'll help build the next generation of AI-powered learning and workforce technology, creating products that make learning more personalized, practical, measurable, and integrated into the way people actually work. These products will initially power Veroa's own operations, helping our consultants learn new tools and develop skills while enabling our teams to assess talent, improve delivery quality, streamline workflows, and make smarter workforce decisions. What You'll Do - Translate the founders' product vision into clear roadmaps and priorities. - Lead products from discovery through launch and continuous iteration. - Work with consultants, internal teams, and customers to understand how people learn and work, and turn those insights into product opportunities. - Build AI-powered learning and workforce products that improve skill development, talent assessment, workforce intelligence, hiring, and operations. - Write clear product requirements and partner closely with engineering on technical tradeoffs, feasibility, and sequencing. - Translate complex workflows, data, and AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences. - Define success metrics and use research, analytics, and experimentation to improve product and learning outcomes. - Establish product processes and development rhythms as the company grows. - Use AI throughout your workflow to accelerate research, prototyping, analysis, and product development. Role Description Own Application Intelligence at Userlane. You'll shape what we build across App Discovery, HEART Analytics and Portfolio Overview to help enterprise CIOs and IT leaders see where software spending delivers value and where it creates waste. You'll work on opportunities such as: - Defining metrics that hold up: Own the methodology behind our HEART Analytics, deciding what each score measures, how it's calculated, and how it stays credible when data is incomplete. - Delivering outcome-linked metrics: Connect usage data to business outcomes like cost savings, efficiency and compliance risk that enterprise executives can take action on. - Building for time-poor executives: Design analytics that bring insights to leaders and answers "what should I do?" not just "what happened?". - Connecting fragmented data sources: Define the integration strategy to combine Userlane behavioural data with cost data from SAM tools, license data from IT asset management and employee data from HR systems. - Transforming insights into action: Define what turns raw usage data into insights that drive action, not just dashboards people look at once. - AI adoption governance: Extend analytics to measure how AI assistants and agents affect productivity, cost and ROI. Qualifications - 5+ years of product management experience on data/analytics products within a modern product organisation. - Defined a metrics methodology, scoring system or measurement framework that others build on. - Comfortable reasoning about why one calculation approach produces misleading results in a specific scenario. - Start with the business question, not the data. - Ability to hold ground and engage with technically strong colleagues and leaders. - Capable of holding credible conversations with data engineers and data scientists. - Experience in enterprise B2B (not B2C product analytics); healthcare experience is a strong plus. - Ability to figure out what works by talking to customers and observing product usage. - Capable of explaining concepts to engineers, salespeople, support agents, and CEOs alike. - Fluent in English (spoken and written). Benefits - A high-performance culture with great leadership and a fun, engaged, motivated and diverse team with people from over 20 countries. - Part of an empowered cross-functional team given the freedom and autonomy to solve real customer problems. - Work directly with our VP Product to shape our 2026-2030 strategy as we expand into new sectors. - Userlane is among the global leaders in the rapidly growing Digital Adoption industry. - Expect weekly 121s, a personalised skills assessment and development plan, on-the-job coaching, and budget for events and training. - Flexible benefits related to savings and security, health and well-being, and lifestyle and leisure.
