Role Description The Director, Product Experience & Design will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of user experience and interface design across the organization, ensuring a seamless, innovative, and differentiated user experience across CData’s product portfolio. This leader plays a critical role in transforming CData into an AI-native product organization by defining how AI is incorporated into user workflows, product experiences, and customer journeys. Working closely with Product and Engineering leadership, the Director will drive the evolution of our products toward intelligent and highly engaging experiences that deliver meaningful customer value and business impact. The Director will be responsible for leading a team of UX designers, elevating design quality across multiple products, influencing product strategy, and championing a customer-centric approach to product development. The ideal candidate combines exceptional design leadership with strong product thinking, a deep understanding of modern SaaS applications, and experience designing AI-enabled user experiences. Why This Role Matters: - This role will be instrumental in transforming both how our products are designed and how our design team operates. - The Director will help define the future user experience of our platform, drive adoption of AI-native design tools, workflows, and practices, as well as elevate product quality, usability, and customer experience across the portfolio. Qualifications - 10+ years of demonstrated experience leading UX/UI design for SaaS, enterprise software, or technology products. - 5+ years of experience leading and developing multidisciplinary design teams. - Demonstrated experience designing AI-enabled, machine learning powered, or intelligent software products. - Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy, challenge product direction when needed, and drive customer-centered decision making alongside Product and Engineering leadership. - Deep understanding of modern UX methodologies, design systems, interaction design, and customer-centered product development. - Experience designing workflows involving AI assistants, copilots, automation, interfaces, or agentic experiences. - Strong expertise in Figma and modern product design tools. - Proven ability to lead organizational transformation initiatives and elevate design maturity across complex product portfolios. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive stakeholder management skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and evolving environment. - BA or BS from accredited university in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science or Human Centered Design. Role Description Regional Service Line Directors are client and market facing professional services leaders. They are responsible for Customer Experience, Product & Design (CXPD) Service Line. - Executing the regional go-to-market of customer experience, product management and experience design offerings and their relevant services. - Advocate and promote CX and Product service catalog to market sales teams. - Ensure teams are selling from the catalog as often as possible to maximize asset reuse, improve service tracing in CRM, and improve forecasting. - Drive and assist pursuits as the first point of contact for sales teams. - Assign specialized Regional Practitioners to pursuits to increase our right to win and assess pursuits for service fitment. - Collaborate with representatives of other offerings and services in the region, as well as account and partnership teams, to craft unique client solutions. - Contribute to service development and evolution by collaborating with Global Service Development Teams. - Collaborate with Market Directors to identify new/missing services and provide continuous service feedback to the Global Service Development Team. - Recruit and onboard new Regional Practitioners within their service line. - Oversee the staffing of key Regional Practitioners and the delivery of Offering-led engagements. - Maintain a skills/capabilities assessment for Regional Practitioners to aid in fitment for pursuits.
