Role Description We are looking for a dynamic person to join our in-house team as a Business Development Manager or Associate Manager in the United Kingdom, preferably in the Greater London/Cambridgeshire area. You will work on projects from our varied client base, ranging from small to big pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and consumer health companies. - Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities. - Build and maintain positive relationships and provide regular face time with key decision makers within prospect and client organizations. - Develop a deep appreciation for the client's business challenges and organizational structure and use this insight to develop realistic and actionable account plans. - Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the company's business development approach, defining client and vertical targets, minimizing the cost of sales, and increasing both efficiencies and closing rates. - Work to exceed revenue targets that align with the company's growth objectives. Qualifications - 2+ years of sales and account management experience. - Established a network of decision-makers in the life-sciences industry. - Experience selling to, presenting to, and building relationships with senior management and C-level stakeholders. - Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing complex business deals. - Persuasive and compelling presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to interpret business challenges and present quick and responsive high-level solutions. - Deadline-driven with a proven ability to manage multiple engagements at varying points in the sales cycle. - Positive employer and client references. - BA, MBA, or equivalent experience. Role Description A Clinical Outreach Representative is responsible for marketing efforts in a specific region as assigned to them by the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach. Outreach representatives are to develop referral sources, maintain relationships internally and externally, and ultimately drive admissions to the organization. - Creating and executing regional strategic marketing plans. - Increase referrals and admissions for continued company growth. - Develop and maintain referral relationships amongst various healthcare professionals. - Maintain activity levels equating to 85 field meetings including 5 onsite tours, 3 in-services per month or as assigned by the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach. - Contribute to referral and admissions prospects goals as identified by the Regional Director of Clinical Outreach. - Maintain Sales Force database and activity record. - Add new contacts into Sales Force: all contact information, regional assignment, and categorize, update accounts when necessary. - Keep activities and events logged appropriately in Sales Force. - Complete weekly and end of month reports in a timely manner: mileage reports, credit card reports, end of month reporting, and other reports as identified by Regional Director. - Assist Regional Director/Territory Manager in identifying new opportunities for marketing efforts: direct mail, online, and community based. - Facilitate and support communication between outreach and admissions, outreach and clinical, outreach and management. - Facilitate and support communication between referral sources and admissions, referral sources and clinical, and referrals throughout Discovery Behavioral Health as a whole.
