Assistant Manager – Informatica Developer, Customer Engagement and Lifecycle
Mashreq
• Development and maintenance of the applications and processes on Informatica platform. • Enhancing, Supporting, and fixing any issues in the existing application for regulatory reporting. • Enhancing, Supporting, and fixing any issues in the existing regulatory applications. • Deploy bug fixes in test environment and perform SIT. • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and ETL process failures. • Implement error handling and recovery strategies in ETL processes. • Must be able to create detailed project documentations like FSD, SDD, TDD, Test Cases, Data Mappings for the requirements to develop and maintain proper versioning. • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. • Will be working on Service tickets and provide resolution of production issues within defined SLA. • Will be responding to the incident/application outages and restore the services. • Ability to analyze the problems and provide Root Cause Analysis for the incidents and implement the same. • Proactively check the server status and make sure the applications / systems are 100% up and running and available for users. • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Make sure infra components/servers are patched according to patch management cycle. • Make sure needed proactive alerts are identified and configured. • Ability to understand the business requirement and translate it into technical specification and implementation. • Planning and estimation for the projects, change requests etc. and tracking the same. • Prototyping and researching alternative implementation strategies. • Reporting daily call status to Team leads. • Getting the inspections/reviews done as per the plan. • Review/verify production transfer documentation, SOPs back up and roll back plans. • Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 Yrs. Of experience relevant to developing and managing ETL on Informatica Power Center (version 10.5 and above)
- Design, develop, and implement complex mappings, sessions, and workflows using ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Identify the problems and Optimize ETL processes for maximum efficiency and performance through performance tuning.
- Perform data analysis and data profiling to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Must be able to use Informatica Data Quality tools.
- Must have experience in Informatica Admin Center.
- Develop and maintain reusable data mappings, workflows, and sessions, (Mapplets, Worklets).
- Must have ability to work on different source and target data stores (XML, MSSQL, Oracle, CSV).
- Should have knowledge on Snowflake, Java Transformation
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) with Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Strong understanding of SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursors, DDL, DML.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera).
- Should have experience with data warehousing concepts and techniques.
- Must have Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles.
