Senior Key Account Manager – International Key Accounts

• Strategic account management: Support and development of existing key accounts and the establishment of long-term partnerships. • Portfolio development: Identifying revenue potential within existing customer relationships and sustainably expanding the customer portfolio. • Project acquisition: Identifying new project opportunities with existing customers and supporting them through to successful closure. • Quotation calculation and preparation: Calculating and preparing technically and commercially sound proposals. • Customer consulting: Main point of contact for customers on technical and commercial matters. • Interface management: Coordinating customer requirements with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Quality. • Complaint handling: Supporting the processing of complaints together with internal specialist departments. • Forecast planning: Active participation in revenue planning, forecasts and budget processes. • Market analysis: Analyzing market movements, identifying relevant trends and conducting regular customer visits in the DACH region.
Job Requirements
- Technical education: Completed training in mechanical engineering, metal technology, mechatronics, nanotechnology or a comparable qualification.
- Work experience: Several years' experience in technical sales or key account management.
- Technical understanding: Ability to comprehend and assess complex customer requirements and translate them into appropriate solution approaches.
- Costing skills: Experience in quote calculation and in project-oriented B2B environments.
- Industry knowledge: Ideally experience in semiconductors, coatings, medical technology or precision manufacturing.
- Language skills: Business-fluent German and English.
- Willingness to travel: Willingness to attend regular customer meetings in the DACH region to a moderate extent.
