• Shape platform-wide product strategy and map out upcoming feature rollouts alongside the founding PM and COO. • Engage firsthand with users to uncover core objectives, collect insights, and pinpoint critical challenges or expansion opportunities. • Convert user insights into crisp, comprehensive product specs, user stories, and technical requirements tailored for engineering execution. • Collaborate with engineering and design to deploy innovative features that delight our users and drive key business KPIs. • Oversee the end-to-end product journey from initial ideation through release, guaranteeing flawless deployment and strong user uptake. • Establish, track, and evaluate core product telemetry to evaluate launch impact and guide subsequent strategic iterations. • Seamlessly balance diverse parallel initiatives through exceptional organizational habits, rigorous prioritization, and efficient scheduling.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or startup environment.
  • Proven track record of shipping successful products and features from concept to launch.
  • Deep customer empathy and a passion for building user-centric solutions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to articulate a clear vision and work cross-functionally.
  • Collaborative by nature, clear on ownership boundaries, and confident raising alignment questions early.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and meticulous in your approach.
  • Quick to learn new tools and adapt to changing processes.

Role Description We are seeking a Product Manager, Learning Experience, to join our team and share in their passion for learning and development. Responsibilities include product optimization, development, and continuous monitoring of high-quality learning products, including courses, credentials, and programs, to support growth and improved Customer Experience of a global L&D solution for ASME. This role partners with cross functional teams, as well as external vendors, contractors, subject matter experts, partners, etc. - Continuously monitor, review and analyze learner and market data. - Make recommendations on product development, maintenance, optimization; and continuously rationalize the product portfolio and sunsets as necessary. - Continuously adapts recommendations (and the related roadmap) based on real-time data. - Identify target customers and their goals, motivation, preferences, and channels to market. - Craft learner personas and their job map based on pain points and needs assessment. - Coordinate with ASME strategy office, adjacent ASME units, volunteers, instructors, and sub-groups and utilize their expertise, data, and research to estimate market sizing. - Identify and prioritize product opportunities and unique value propositions. - Maintain an ongoing strategic roadmap for the learning experience “supply chain.” - Identify process improvements to encourage repeat customers and customer satisfaction, among other KPIs. - Propose and implement notifications and regular communication with learners to maximize customer success and loyalty. - Incorporate product insights into product descriptions and other product collateral. - Maintain an internal database of course metadata. - Work with marketing and sales to articulate the messaging, value proposition, and audience for all products. - Work effectively with L&D team for cohesion in maintaining proper communication of product roadmap and status. - Solicit, manage, and optimize the work product of external vendors, contractors, subject matter experts, partners, etc. - Contribute to financial activities and the creation/execution of contracts with external resources. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Management, Customer Experience, Engineering Education or a closely related field. - Experience with the instructional design, development and implementation of learning and development materials preferred. Requirements - Communication – Oral and written presentation, including the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Relationship Management – Ability to work well with teams in diverse, complex, and changing environments. - Problem Solving – Ability to identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues, and develop actionable recommendations. - Project Management: - A detailed approach and ability to work independently and remain organized in order to meet commitments and balance competing priorities. - Familiarity with project management, collaboration tools and database systems preferred (ex: JIRA, Airtable, MIRO). - Technical: - Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Power Point and Outlook. - Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) preferred. - Capability to understand, interpret, and analyze data.
