Job Description

Pre-College Regional Coordinator – Southeast PA

Lackawanna College Venture Lab

• Build and sustain strong relationships with high schools and career and technical centers within the assigned region to support Pre-College program growth and meet established outreach and enrollment goals • Engage and collaborate with educators and school leaders to introduce, expand, and support Pre-College opportunities • Plan and deliver engaging presentations to small and large groups of students, families, and school personnel to increase awareness, participation, and program interest • Serve as a primary point of contact for partner and prospective schools, clearly communicating program offerings, partnership requirements, and participation processes • Support students and families throughout the Pre-College experience by providing guidance, answering questions, assisting with registration, and ensuring high-quality, student-centered experience • Collaborate closely with internal teams across Pre-College, Enrollment, Academic Affairs, and Student Services to support coordinated outreach, student success, and continued program growth • Track outreach activities, partnerships, and student engagement using College technology systems, travel within the assigned region as needed, and contribute to achieving program goals and strategic growth priorities • Ability to work during high impact time periods and enrollment periods • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience in higher education admissions, enrollment management, or student services
  • Familiarity with Pennsylvania K–12 school systems or career and technical education (CTCs)
  • Experience working with students and families in an educational or advising capacity
  • Comfort delivering presentations to small and large groups
  • Experience in recruiting, admissions, outreach, sales, or other relationship-based roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage educators, students, and families effectively
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to the needs of schools and students
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region (approximately 25–50%), including occasional overnight trips
  • Proficiency and confidence in using technology to support presentations, communications, tracking, and reporting
