Inventory Support Specialist – Part Time

• Ensure clinic compliance with best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) relating to inventory handling, storage and discrepancy tickets. • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by working with staff in clinics, warehouses, and the Inventory team. • Monitor department inbox for all vendor invoices as shipments occur. • Input inventory data into inventory management systems or ERP platforms with high accuracy. • Check all tracking numbers to ensure purchased product was delivered and checked in within clinic. • Follow up weekly with stores to check in all outstanding dashboard items. • Manage communication on back-end transfers between clinics. • Assist with month end inventory reconciliation & cycle count audit follow up. • Provide additional support as needed to the department as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in supply chain, business, or a related field preferred.
- 12 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, retail operations, or healthcare/medical office setting.
- Experience supporting multiple locations (such as medical clinics) is a plus.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and software (e.g., ERP or clinic-specific platforms).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (e.g., using spreadsheets for inventory tracking).
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (G Suite) including Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, and Drive for inventory tracking, reporting, and collaboration.
- Understanding basic inventory control procedures and principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with clinic/retail staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot discrepancies and inventory issues.
