Title: DevSecOps Engineer Job#: 3040391 Employee Type: Contract Location: San Antonio, TX, US Pay Range: $85 - $85 per hour Job Description: Job#: 3040391 Job Description: We are seeking a senior DevSecOps Engineer to support application and infrastructure lifecycle management. This role requires deep Azure experience and will focus on automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and operational reliability. The position involves ensuring scalable, resilient, and efficient systems through the continuous improvement of processes and tooling. Key Responsibilities - Support application and infrastructure planning, testing, development, and deployment. - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. - Implement and maintain automation solutions across infrastructure, deployment, and operations. - Manage on-call rotations, including incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation. - Support Power Platforms; one opening requires heavy D365 experience. - Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring. - Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to drive best practices. Required Qualifications Experience: - 3-5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles. - Deep experience with Azure. - Previous experience supporting Power Platforms. - Experience with automation, scripting, and CI/CD tools. - Familiarity with incident management and monitoring tools. Certifications: - Relevant certifications are required (e.g., CDP, CDE, ADSP/ADSOP, CAISP). Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. - Exposure to containerization and orchestration. - Knowledge of ITIL processes or formal incident management frameworks. - Experience in the oil and gas industry. - Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and environments. Role Description Flexion is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer for an enterprise-level application development project to help accelerate trusted AI adoption across government. We are looking for a Platform DevSecOps Engineer strong in infrastructure, cloud architecture, and security. This is not primarily an application or UI role, but you should be comfortable navigating our Python and TypeScript stack. Your center of gravity is infrastructure, identity, and secure operations. - Possess excellent problem-solving skills and technical knowledge. - Use test-driven development with full code coverage. - Engage in fully transparent, open source development. Qualifications - 10+ years of engineering experience, with depth in infrastructure, cloud, or platform work. - Strong AWS and cloud-architecture experience. - Extensive FedRAMP experience. - Infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform and Helm. - CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Jenkins. - Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Identity and access management: SSO/OIDC, SAML, SCIM provisioning; Keycloak and/or enterprise ICAM a strong plus. - Expertise in observability (logging, monitoring, alerting). - Able to work effectively across Python and TypeScript codebases, with FastAPI, Astro, or SvelteKit experience a plus. - Test-driven development, automated unit testing, and end-to-end testing. - Comfortable using AI coding agents as force multipliers and structuring repos for them. - Cares about crafting thoughtfully-designed developer experiences. - Superb time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
