In this role, you will help shape and grow passionate player communities across multiple platforms, acting as the voice of both the players and the game team. You'll play a key role in fostering engagement, supporting live operations, building creator programs, and ensuring our communities remain welcoming, informed, and connected. The Senior Community Manager will lead community engagement initiatives across social and community platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class player experiences. This role is responsible for managing community programs, supporting live game communications, growing creator and ambassador initiatives, monitoring player sentiment, and helping drive engagement across Scopely's player communities. What You Will Do: - Build, manage, monitor, and moderate community platforms including Discord, Reddit, and other external community channels, fostering healthy and engaged player communities. - Partner with Product, Marketing, Live Operations, and Development teams to communicate game updates, patch notes, announcements, and editorial content in a clear and engaging way. - Act as the voice of the community, gathering player feedback, identifying trends, and sharing actionable insights with internal stakeholders. - Identify, recruit, and support community moderators, ambassadors, and advocates across official community channels. - Develop, launch, and manage a multi-tiered Content Creator and Influencer program with clearly defined engagement goals and KPIs. - Monitor community sentiment using internal tools and platform analytics, providing regular reporting and recommendations. - Work with platform partners to maintain best-in-class community experiences, including moderation tools, bots, and automation where appropriate. - Identify live game issues and bugs reported by players, gathering detailed information to support investigation and resolution. - Create and execute community-focused campaigns and engagement programs aligned with broader marketing initiatives. - Represent the game team within player communities while advocating for player needs internally. - Stay current with emerging community platforms, trends, and best practices to continually evolve Scopely's community strategy. What We're Looking For: - 4+ years of experience in community management within the games industry. - Strong understanding of gaming communities, social media platforms, Discord, Reddit, and community moderation best practices. - Experience managing online communities for live service games. - Experience building and managing influencer, creator, or ambassador programs. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments. - Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Development, and Customer Support teams. - Strong analytical skills with experience tracking community health, engagement, and sentiment metrics. - Highly organized with excellent time management, prioritization, and attention to detail. - Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. - Passion for games and building meaningful player communities.
