Title: Appian Lead Developer Location: United States Job Description: Remote United States Full-time We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead/Senior Appian Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation of complex case management and workflow automation solutions in a federal environment. You will lead development initiatives, implement AI-driven capabilities, and ensure compliance with strict security standards. This role is remote and requires a Public Trust security clearance. Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS154, T4, Band 7 Job-Specific Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - 7+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications) using Appian 17.x or later. - 3+ years in a technical lead or senior developer capacity, leading small-to-medium development teams. - Proven experience delivering mission-critical applications within federal or highly regulated environments. - Appian Certified Lead Developer (ACD-301) strongly preferred. Active Appian Senior Developer certification with a clear, immediate path to Lead will be considered. - Proficient in SQL/Relational Databases. - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. - Strong, hands-on experience with Agile software development.
