The Knights of the Columbus Marketing and Customer Experience Team is looking for an experienced Content Strategist. This role will be responsible for creating, executing and maintaining a content strategy across multiple platforms that aligns with enterprise priorities and departmental goals. Focus on curating, organizing and developing content for the public website and the member and customer portal. Write and optimize content for both web and email. Act as support to Marketing Directors, offering content recommendations and creating content as needed. Collaborate with the UX and web publishing teams to ensure both on-page and technical parameters are met for AI search success. Core Responsibilities Develop a full-funnel content strategy that integrates with email and social media strategies for a unified experience that nurtures leads to conversion and/or deepens relationships with existing members and customers. Align content strategy and goals with the Order’s Big Six priorities and create a plan for tracking/reporting progress. Create and maintain a KofC.org content calendar. Create educational financial content and assist with decisions about placement and repurposing across marketing channels. Optimize web content for AI search results to boost brand visibility and awareness. Work with the UX and web publishing teams to align on-page and technical SEO with current best practices. Monitor and track content performance, impact and attributions in GA4. Perform regular content audits to review performance and visibility, suggesting adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with marketing leads to determine content needs and propose content ideas to help them reach goals specific to their business unit.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- In-depth knowledge of current SEO landscape, AI best practices and how to optimize for AI search.
- Experience working in GA4.
- Previous experience in financial services marketing.
- Previous experience creating and executing content strategies for enterprise business.
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing copywriting.

- Compensation
- The wage range for this role takes into account a broad array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range below applies as long as the work is performed in Connecticut; the Knights of Columbus reserves the right to adjust the wage range if the position is performed in another location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,000 - $149,500.
