Role Description Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Financial Controller to spearhead finance and accounting functions within one of our operating companies, located in Orange County, CA. In addition to managing day-to-day accounting operations, this individual will liaise with our U.S. based accounting team on reporting and analysis. The Financial Controller will own several business functions and receive significant exposure to the organization. We are seeking a creative problem solver with a growth mindset, as this opportunity represents a fast track to higher-level accounting and finance opportunities. Your work as a Financial Controller will include several components: - Lead and manage company finance and accounting initiatives, including budget, audit, and month-end close processes, utilizing U.S. GAAP accounting. - Manage daily accounting functions for: - General Ledger - Account Receivable - Accounts Payable - Payroll - Invoicing - Fixed Assets - Collections - Monthly Reconciliations - Sales and Use Tax - Lead and manage Accounting Operations including systems and processes, attaining goals, and managing special projects. - Maintain accounting and finance Standard Operating Procedures and develop recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes. - Own financial reporting for internal, corporate, and peer group requirements. - Play an integral hands-on role in customer billing processes, collections, monthly and annual price changes, and billing-related incentives and commissions. - Liaise for key business relationships such as banking, landlord, vendors, and suppliers. - Own and manage core HR administrative functions, including employee benefits administration, HR policy development and maintenance, onboarding and offboarding processes, compliance with federal and state employment regulations, and employee record-keeping, serving as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters across the organization. • Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, and fixed assets • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes • Establish and document policies, procedures, and best practices for the finance function • Own the full-cycle accounts payable process: vendor onboarding and W-9/1099 setup, purchase-order and invoice matching, GL coding, approval routing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations and inquiries. • Reconcile the AR and AP subledgers to the general ledger each period and maintain the related accrual and allowance estimates, including the allowance for credit losses. • Build and maintain robust internal controls to support future audit cycles and diligence processes • Prepare timely, accurate GAAP financial statements and the monthly management reporting package, with variance analysis against budget and prior period. • Manage tax filings, sales tax compliance, and multi-state nexus considerations • Proactively identify compliance risks and implement corrective measures • Own cash management, bank reconciliations, and short-term cash forecasting. • Forecast working-capital needs and time funding and disbursements against the cash position. • Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and resource allocation.

• Lead our Soft Drinks portfolio within the retailer to drive strategic and accelerated growth within the accounts, managing the P&L across all soft drinks sub categories • Create and execute a long term, multi-year strategy, anchored in mutual growth for both the retailer and AG Barr, aligned to the category strategy and business priorities • Lead the cross-functional team to deliver best in class plans, utilising strength in our Category Management, Brand Activation, Digital and Supply Chain teams • Own the total P&L to drive profitable, sustainable growth within the Business Unit, to deliver against the growth objectives for the business • Lead the growth plans across multiple formats - Stores, Express, Online & Q-Com • Lead the team to build comprehensive joint business plans, to leverage strategic partnership and drive key business objectives • Lead the team to deliver against the internal monthly cycle with accuracy and clarity, including: forecast delivery, accurate numbers reporting, FY plan projections, using external data sources where required (Quantium, Kantar, Circana) • Develop and inspire a high performing team through coaching and focused personal development planning
