Role Description This position will be field based within the Tri-State Region (NJ, NY, CT, RI). As a Professional Services Veterinarian for our company, you embody our unconditional commitment to healthier animals by acting as coach, leader, and advisor to our internal and external customers. We provide our Professional Services Veterinarians with a culture of support, development, and continuous learning to assure we reach our shared goals. Responsibilities: - Function as an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team supporting territory managers by demonstrating and conveying the value and benefits of our company's Animal Health portfolio through: - Preparation and delivery of technical lectures on our product line to key customers, strategic accounts, and professional veterinary organizations. - Offering solutions that align with customer needs and business priorities. - Partner with Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute effective business strategy to reach and exceed regional and organizational priorities for lasting success. - Meet with key opinion leaders in both clinical and university settings to discuss our company's Animal Health portfolio as well as potential new business opportunities. - Represent our company's Animal Health at veterinary schools and veterinary associations and conferences. - Serve as the region’s technical expert, evaluating regional and individual technical training needs of the sales representatives and coaching sales representatives in technical selling skills. - Collaborate with R&D, Learning and Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights & Medical Affairs, and Sales to achieve organizational priorities. Qualifications - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree. - Minimum 5 years experience in clinical companion animal veterinary practice. - Ability to take complex issues and translate into easily comprehensible content for respective audiences. - Experience presenting in front of a variety of audiences with different levels of medical knowledge. - Excellent oral and written communications skills. - Competency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). - Must be able to work effectively with our customers, internal and external. Requirements - Experience with companion animal vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics. - Applicable advanced degrees and research experience. - Delivery of training or instruction within a structured organization. - Leadership and/or management experience.
