Job Description

Foundry Client Services Manager

Monotype

• Build and retain long-term relationships with premier & strategic foundries, becoming their primary point of contact and connecting them with their network of supporting functions at Monotype. • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, licensing alignment, and optimal merchandising. • Gather feedback to continuously improve the partner experience, advocate for tooling or content needs, and identify blockers to scale. • Measure and report out partner success, opportunities, and KPIs to leadership. • Work cross-functionally with global Experience, Legal, Product, and Marketing teams to improve the foundry experience and drive mutual value. • Travel globally (primarily in EMEA) to meet directly with partners to strengthen relationships and represent Monotype at relevant industry events and in professional communities. • Become a SME in Monotype’s business goals, strategy, and other key themes to be able to have strategic conversations with partners. • Connect our partners with other SMEs in specific areas like Royalties, Legal, and Product for further support.

Job Requirements

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience using and improving CRM systems to track partner relationships and opportunities.
  • 5-10 Proven years of experience in partnerships or business development, preferably within design, media, or IP-driven industries.
  • Strong empathy for and enjoyment working with people in creative industries.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven success in closing high-value or strategic deals.
  • Comfortable operating independently, with strong initiative and strategic thinking.
  • Willingness to learn a new industry and the experience to know when to be the SME and when to bring in a SME.
  • Interest in creative fields such as art, type and design.
  • Fluency in an additional language such as French or German is advantageous.

Role Description EnSafe is seeking a Client Director of Environmental Services to join our growing environmental consulting practice. This role is designed for a senior-level professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong private-sector client leadership and business development capability, particularly with industrial, commercial, and corporate clients. You will partner with multidisciplinary teams, lead complex projects, and play a key role in expanding EnSafe’s presence across priority markets and service lines. This is a full-time position that may be based in any existing EnSafe office location, driving growth across EnSafe’s full suite of environmental, engineering, and compliance services for private-sector clients. Additionally, for the right candidate with established private-sector client relationships and the ability to attract and develop staff, this role offers the opportunity to help launch and grow a new EnSafe office location. Key Responsibilities - Serve as a senior leader driving profitable growth within EnSafe’s private-sector environmental consulting practice. - Develop new client relationships while strengthening long-standing partnerships with industrial, commercial, and corporate clients. - Personally engage in the pursuit and delivery of strategic consulting work for private-sector organizations. - Lead client relationships as Client and Project Manager or primary client contact for key private-client engagements. - Direct and oversee the successful execution of projects, ensuring technical quality, safety, schedule, and financial performance. - Apply advanced technical expertise to support client decision-making and project outcomes. - Navigate local, state, and federal regulatory frameworks as they relate to private-sector compliance and permitting. - Mentor and develop staff through coaching, technical guidance, and a collaborative, “learn-by-doing” culture. - Collaborate closely with Principals, Practice Leaders, and Operations leaders across EnSafe. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering (civil, chemical, mechanical, or related discipline), or a closely related field. - Professional licensure (PE, PG, or equivalent), as applicable. - 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or a related professional services environment. - Demonstrated success in client development, including repeat business and trusted advisor relationships, primarily with private-sector clients. - Proven track record of winning, leading, and delivering large, complex, or strategic projects for industrial, commercial, or corporate clients. - Strong understanding of environmental regulations impacting private-sector operations. - Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
