Job Description
Senior SharePoint, Power BI Engineer – Clearance Required
LMI
• As the SharePoint and Power BI Specialist, you will design, build, and operate the collaboration and reporting backbone for a fast-moving technical organization in direct support of the warfighter. • On the SharePoint side, you will architect site structures, information architecture, and permission models in SharePoint Online; build modern sites, communication hubs, and document libraries with metadata, content types, and retention; and develop SPFx web parts or Power Apps integrations where out-of-the-box does not fit. • On the Power BI side, you will build production-grade semantic models, write performant DAX, design clean and decision-ready dashboards, and operate workspaces with proper deployment pipelines, row-level security, and refresh schedules. • You will turn raw data into the visuals senior leaders actually use to make decisions. • You will partner with the Data Engineering and Power Platform teams, so SharePoint and Power BI consume curated, governed data and so apps, sites, and reports work as one connected experience. • You proactively solve unusual and/or complex problems with little, or no direction given and thrive in a fast-paced technical environment that prioritizes mission impact and speed. • You are an expert with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and you can build the deck for an executive review and brief it.
Job Requirements

- Minimum of 5-years of combined hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Power BI in enterprise environments
- Demonstrated expertise architecting SharePoint Online: site collections, hubs, information architecture, content types, and permission models
- Strong Power BI skills: semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query (M), workspace administration, deployment pipelines, and row-level security
- Experience integrating SharePoint and Power BI with the broader Microsoft 365 and Power Platform ecosystem
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PnP PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate operator needs into sites, reports, and dashboards and brief results to GO/SES-level stakeholders
- Experience operating in a governed environment with DLP policies, sensitivity labels, and tenant-level administration
