• Accurately diagnose root issues underlying client challenges, even when inputs are unclear. • Propose thoughtful, tailored solutions, occasionally improving upon standard methodologies. • Actively contribute to team problem-solving sessions with innovative ideas. • Lead the development of interview guides and research outlines. • Collect, structure, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data aligned with project hypotheses. • Deliver clear, error-free outputs in notes, deliverables, and spreadsheets. • Identify and manage appropriate vendors and escalate research needs when required. • Interpret complex datasets to identify "hidden" insights and implications. • Contribute to non-standard project methodologies with strong analytical rigor. • Communicate methodologies clearly and teach data skills to peers. • Produce well-supported, actionable client recommendations with clear "so what" messaging. • Deliverables are polished, structured, and adhere to communication best practices (clarity, coherence, control, credibility). • Demonstrate understanding of macro and micro trends across core industries. • Apply and refine FV’s methodologies independently and suggest improvements. • Lead parts of project check-ins, communicate proactively, and identify scope changes. • Deliver content independently via phone, and assist in in-person workshops. • Prepare and tailor high-quality materials for senior clients with minimal guidance. • Collaborate on compelling proposals aligned to client needs and business value. • Translate problem diagnosis into effective proposal narratives and vendor recommendations. • Manage project timelines and anticipate planning risks. • Practice effective upward management and escalate issues appropriately with solutions. • Identify team inefficiencies and contribute to improvements. • Lead or organize team trainings and support team development goals. • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and inspiring team culture. • Promote accountability, engagement rules, and team cohesion.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in consulting, advisory or market research
  • Bachelors degree is required, Masters degree is preferred
  • Academic coursework in business, international relations, economics, or statistics
  • Fluency in other languages, aside from English
  • Rigorous analytical mindset; strong quantitative experience
  • Enthusiastic about the possibilities of growing a business
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Thrives in a demanding environment with competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with working with colleagues located remotely/in different time zones
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience living or working in an emerging market
