• Develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more • Contribute knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills • Communicate complex technical and business concepts to customers and team members • Integrate with other layers and offerings for delivering high-quality products • Coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture

• Take end-to-end ownership of new features, working with others in the Nexus and OSS teams to deliver exceptional reliability and a great developer experience. • Design and build Nexus interfaces for the Temporal SDKs used by customers to work with Temporal in their programming language of choice. • Tightly integrate Temporal SDKs with their respective languages, making best use of type systems and language runtimes, to execute application code in a durable, deterministic way. • Develop features that provide a foundation for the reliable execution of the current wave of agentic AI systems. • Work directly with our community to debug issues that need expert attention, and get feedback on Temporal SDK features and APIs. • Write publicly-readable technical documentation describing Temporal concepts and APIs. • Travel to meet your coworkers for a week once or twice a year.

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM. • Experience in enterprise-level ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Service Manager, etc.) and their operational workflows. • Worked on waterfall and agile methodology projects; capable of handling - Incidents, Service Requests and Change Requests simultaneously. • Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application and integration. • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Mainframe applications and database queries. • Develop technical documentation (Knowledge Base articles, SOPs) for business and support teams • Understand both functional and technical requirements and provide implementation/change options aligned with business needs.

• Architect, develop, and maintain complex, high-performance applications in C++ (C++11/14/17/20 and beyond) • Take ownership of critical system components with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance • Design and implement solutions involving advanced memory management and concurrent/multithreaded architecture • Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices across the team • Define and maintain CMake-based build systems and manage multi-platform build configurations • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based containerisation workflows • Diagnose and resolve complex issues using tools such as GDB and Valgrind; lead performance profiling and tuning initiatives • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a Linux-based development environment • Contribute to and maintain automation scripts using Python and shell scripting • Interact with relational data sources using SQL where required • Manage source code, branching strategies, and release workflows using Git • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; drive technical growth across the team • Participate in system design discussions, technical planning, and effort estimation
