Role Description You are a direct response designer who understands that every pixel exists to move a person from curiosity to click to conversion — and you can prove it with your portfolio. If your portfolio is full of logos, brand guides, and organic social content — this role isn't a fit. If your portfolio shows landing pages, advertorials, native thumbnails, and funnel visuals with actual performance results behind them — keep reading. What You'll Be Designing - Advertorial-style landing page graphics that guide readers toward conversion through visual storytelling - Native ad thumbnails and images designed to blend into editorial environments on Taboola and Outbrain - Hook visuals that create curiosity gaps without looking spammy — subtle, editorial, and psychologically sharp - Mechanism explanation graphics — infographic-style visuals that make a product's value instantly credible - Before/after storytelling sequences embedded into long-form advertorial pages - Authority-style imagery — social proof visuals, credential callouts, and trust-building design elements - Multiple angle variations per offer — you'll never design just one version of anything - GIFs and light motion creatives for click-through rate lift where platforms allow - Product mockups for use across paid and organic channels What You'll Do - Design landing page and sales page creatives as your primary, daily output - Build static native ad images and thumbnail variants optimized for editorial-feed CTR - Develop multiple hook and angle variations for every campaign to enable rigorous A/B testing - Work directly with media buyers to iterate on creative based on live performance data - Optimize designs for both CTR (at the ad level) and CVR (at the landing page level) — you understand both metrics and how your work impacts each - Maintain visual consistency across multiple brands while adapting tone and style for each - Stay compliant: you understand platform policies and health/wellness claim sensitivity — you push conversion without pushing boundaries - Ship fast. Give feedback loops real turnaround times — this is a high-output, test-and-iterate environment Do Not Apply If - Portfolio is mandatory. Applications without direct response or performance marketing examples will not be reviewed — no exceptions. - Share 3-5 landing pages or advertorials you designed for paid traffic. - Share 3-5 ad creatives you've designed and has scaled or performed well - You only have brand, social, or agency portfolio work with no DTC or paid traffic context - You've never worked alongside a media buyer or received performance data as creative feedback - You don't know what CTR or CVR means in the context of your own designs - You need significant creative direction to produce one concept — we need someone who produces five - You can't show a landing page, advertorial graphic, or native thumbnail in your portfolio Who You Are - 2–5 years of graphic design experience specifically in direct response, performance marketing, or paid traffic creative - You've designed for native platforms — you know what an advertorial looks like and how a Taboola thumbnail needs to feel to get the click - You think like a media buyer: CTR, CVR, hook rate, thumb-stop — these are not foreign terms, they're how you evaluate your own work - You can take a raw marketing brief and produce 3–5 distinct creative angles without hand-holding - You work fast and iterate faster — you're not precious about your work, you're precious about your results - You understand the psychology of native advertising: editorial blending, curiosity gaps, and the visual triggers that drive clicks - You can balance platform compliance with conversion — you know where the line is and how to get close without crossing it - Portfolio showcases landing pages, advertorial graphics, and native ad creatives — not just brand decks and social posts Tools & Skills Required - Figma — primary design and collaboration tool - Adobe Photoshop — image manipulation, compositing, and retouching - Adobe After Effects or equivalent — for GIF and light motion creative production - Understanding of native ad specs across Taboola, Outbrain, and MGID - Ability to work from a written brief and produce production-ready assets without excessive revision cycles - Strong plus: Experience designing compliance-friendly creatives for health, wellness, and gifting verticals. You know the difference between 'clinically proven' (no-go) and 'thousands of customers report...' (workable). Why Join Us - See your creative work directly tied to revenue — real attribution, real feedback, real growth - Work with experienced media buyers who give you performance data on every creative you ship - Fast creative cycles — your work goes live quickly and improves based on real data, not opinions - Performance bonuses tied to creative output quality and campaign contribution - Career growth into Senior Designer or Creative Strategist as we scale - Remote-first, high-ownership culture — you own your output and your craft - Work across multiple consumer brands in gifting, health, wellness, and lifestyle
