Role Description The Program Controller participates in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Responsibilities include significant interface with project managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, accounts receivable, procurement, subcontract management, etc. Duties will include, but are not limited to: - Reports detailed information, analyzes financial data in support of project cost/schedule status and presents briefings to SAIC managers and customers as required. - Accurately and timely report customer weekly and/or monthly status reports maintaining accurate burn rate and LOF information. - Support development of spend plans for assigned programs and perform financial analysis including but not limited to maintaining Estimate at Completion (EACs). - Participate in AOP (annual operating plan), Quarterly forecast, monthly latest revised estimates. - Analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, unbillables and costs on hold on a recurring basis. - Submit and maintain purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials; monitoring subcontractor's cost and review/approval of invoices. - Participates in new business proposals, project projections, analysis of requirements, and input to cost and management volumes. - Support other programmatic ad hoc requests, as needed/requested by manager. - Proactively participates in process improvement efforts relating to finance.
