Role Description Red Arch Solutions is seeking an Experienced Web Developer in Annapolis Junction, MD on a high-priority contract. This position offers up to 16 hours or TELEWORK per week. - Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance web-based software solutions that support mission-critical intelligence applications. - Build intuitive, user-friendly web interfaces that enable analysts to capture, organize, visualize, and share data across the Intelligence Community. - Analyze user requirements and translate them into software design, performance, and usability requirements. - Collaborate with engineers, UX/UI designers, and mission stakeholders to develop scalable and responsive web applications. - Develop and maintain front-end components using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks. - Integrate web applications with REST-based APIs and backend services to support data-driven mission capabilities. Qualifications - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. - Eight (8) or more years of experience with web application and/or front-end languages and technologies plus a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR Twelve (12) years of development experience may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor’s degree. - Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications. - Experience developing user-accessible web interfaces using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. - Experience developing applications that interface with REST-based APIs or web services. - Experience working through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Experience troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues. - Experience integrating new web components with existing applications and services. - Experience developing or maintaining technical documentation related to software systems. - Experience working in an Agile software development environment. - Experience using Jira and Confluence or similar collaboration and issue-tracking tools. - Experience ensuring developed software meets 508 accessibility compliance standards. • Develop and maintain front-end web applications and user interfaces across company products. • Build responsive, accessible, and performant UI components aligned to design and branding standards. • Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and third-party services into front-end applications. • Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to maintain code quality and consistency. • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs and performance issues across browsers and devices. • Maintain version control and follow established development conventions and standards. • Document front-end implementations and keep technical records up to date. • Support greenfield development projects as they arise.

• Guide the design and development of high quality software to meet business goals, ensuring that it is scalable and efficient. • Be part of a highly collaborative cross-functional team, working closely with partners - such as product managers and designers - to solve technical business problems in a pragmatic, user-centric way. • Proactively proposing new ideas and opinions, challenging existing ideas and suggesting new alternatives. • Be an expert in identifying and addressing potential trade-offs in technical architectures and code, before, during and after development. • Lead discussions on software specifications, offering a strategic perspective on technology direction. • Support and mentor junior and mid-level team members. • Improve the observability of the system as a whole, including the design and implementation of new metrics, logs, traces, or other data.
