Senior Business Analyst

Upstream Rehabilitation

• Lead end-to-end requirements for complex, cross-functional initiatives from discovery and scope definition to delivery. • Partner with business, product, engineering, QA and project leaders to align on approach, milestones, risks and success metrics. • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to analyze current processes, identify gaps and design improved future-state workflows. • Create and manage clear, actionable deliverables (user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mapping, business rules). • Own requirements across the SDLC, ensuring traceability and effectively managing evolving scope and priorities. • Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate solutions and ensure alignment with business goals and compliance needs. • Support QA and UAT to validate outcomes, resolve defects, and ensure high-quality releases. • Communicate status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership with clarity and consistency. • Drive implementation readiness, documentation, and adoption while mentoring others and elevating BA best practices. • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering complex initiatives as a Business Analyst/Sr. Business Analyst across the SDLC (Agile and/or Waterfall).
  • Proven ability to lead discovery, define requirements, and produce clear, actionable deliverables (user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria).
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with business, product, engineering, and QA to manage scope, ensure traceability, and drive delivery.
  • Strong understanding of systems, integrations, and data flows, with the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
  • Confident communicator and facilitator who can align stakeholders and translate between business and technical teams.
  • Analytical, organized, and self-directed; able to manage competing priorities and deliver results.

Role Description The National Business Statistics Analyst will be reporting to the Thailand Programme Coordinator, with a matrix coordination line to the Gender Statistics Specialist in the Women’s Economic Empowerment Section at the UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. In close coordination with UN Women and national stakeholders, the National Business Statistics Analyst will assist with conducting a diagnostic assessment of data ecosystems, including data governance, for the production of business statistics in official statistics in Thailand. - Conduct a diagnostic assessment of data ecosystems. - Identify challenges and opportunities for integrating gender, disability, and intersectionality in business statistics. - Support the development of an evidence-informed assessment of institutional and governance arrangements. - Assess administrative workflows and current processes for business registration. - Contribute to stakeholder interviews with key national stakeholders. - Provide input to an assessment of the feasibility of the data ecosystem. - Contribute to the production of a structured overview of the business registry data model. - Support the organization of validation workshops of key findings. - Identify gaps and practical options to strengthen data governance. - Contribute to the drafting of an action plan with prioritized recommendations.
