Staff Engineer, Workday HCM Integration Consultant

Role Description We are looking for a skilled professional to develop, implement, maintain, and support Workday HCM integrations with enterprise and third-party applications. - Design and support integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation. - Configure and maintain Workday Business Processes to support business requirements. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective integration solutions. - Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday Reports, BIRT reports, and reporting solutions. - Support Workday Extend applications and Adaptive Planning integrations where applicable. - Manage onboarding content, questionnaires, templates, and other Workday configuration activities. - Configure and maintain Workday security roles, domains, and security profiles. - Provide ongoing functional and integration support, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions. - Monitor integration performance and ensure data integrity, reliability, and compliance. - Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests using ITSM processes while ensuring SLA adherence. - Prepare and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks. - Stay up to date with Workday product releases and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and business processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality solution delivery and continuous improvement. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Requirements - Total experience: 6+ years. - Hands-on experience in Workday HCM integration development, implementation, and production support. - Strong expertise in Workday integration technologies, including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI), Workday Studio, and Document Transformation. - Experience with inbound/outbound integrations, user template uploads, and mass data uploads. - Strong knowledge of Workday Business Process configuration and support. - Functional knowledge of Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Employee Management, and Learning Management System (LMS). - Experience developing and supporting Workday Reports and BIRT reports. - Exposure to Workday Extend and Adaptive Planning is preferred. - Experience managing onboarding content, questionnaires, and other Workday configuration artifacts. - Strong understanding of Workday security roles, domains, and security profiles. - Experience providing functional and integration production support in a ticket-driven environment. - Good understanding of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and cross-functional IT teams. - Workday certification is preferred. - Willingness to work in the 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST shift to support US business hours.
