Role Description TherapyNotes is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help drive the evolution of our platform. You’ll work across the stack, influence architecture, and own features from design through release. • Architecture design: contribute to the creation and evolution of the architecture of our tech solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, security, and performance. • Team mentorship: Coach engineering teams, guiding best practices in software development and engineering processes. • Code Development: Engage in hands-on coding and actively contribute to the development of core features and functionality. • Collaboration across the business: Work closely with business SMEs, Product Designers and other business stakeholders to ensure alignment of technology with business objectives. • Quality Assurance: Support and contribute to a robust testing practice and ensure adherence to coding standards throughout the development lifecycle. • Technology Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching new technologies and recommending solutions that can enhance our offerings. • Compliance and Security: Work with compliance and risk team members to implement security measures that safeguard sensitive financial data.

• Build and ship features across the stack: Next.js dashboards, FastAPI endpoints, and the Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL) data layer behind them. • Work with Amazon data integrations: SP-API and Advertising API report requests, polling lifecycles, token refresh, rate-limit handling, and mapping responses into our schemas. • Maintain and extend the reporting pipeline: scheduled report generation, batch processing through Cloud Tasks, and the running, queued, completed, and failed states around long-running jobs. • Optimise data-heavy frontend views (schedule lists, vendor, seller, and catalogue tables): list virtualisation, pagination, code-splitting, render performance, and TanStack React Query cache tuning. • Tune the serving platform: Cloud Run cold starts, concurrency, and minimum instances, hosting and content delivery network (CDN), and the trade-off between latency and cost. • Optimise the read path in Structured Query Language (SQL) across BigQuery and PostgreSQL, and help evolve the schema as we migrate workloads. • Establish performance measurement (Core Web Vitals, application programming interface (API) latency, Cloud Run metrics) and act on the real bottlenecks rather than assumptions. • Write clean, well-tested code: unit tests on service logic, integration tests on endpoints.

• Lead the Nexus team and shape systems and features • Manage a distributed team of engineers • Contribute to coding and architectural decisions • Establish workflows for AI-assisted coding • Conduct 1:1s and performance management. • Collaborate on technical direction and long-term decisions.
