• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. • Monitor cash flow and manage invoicing and payment collections. • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial projections. • Track and report on budget performance, identifying areas for improvement. • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, expense management, and vendor relations. • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. • Utilize financial software and tools to streamline and automate financial processes. • Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to provide financial insights and support decision-making. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, Google Sheet, financial ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial services industry (preferred).
