Emerging Tech is seeking a Clinical SME to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. The Clinical SME will provide expert clinical knowledge and operational guidance during the deployment of healthcare systems across multiple sites. This role ensures that workflows, documentation practices, and user adoption align with clinical standards and organizational goals, supporting a smooth transition during the active deployment phase. Serve as the clinical operations subject matter expert during system deployment to ensure workflows, patient care, and clinical practices align with organizational needs. Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for functional issues. Act as a liaison between clinical staff and technical teams to ensure system configuration reflects real-world clinical needs. Identify workflow gaps or issues and provide recommendations for process improvements. Assist with change management communications and stakeholder engagement across multiple deployment sites to ensure seamless operational readiness. Support the assessment, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical information systems, including EHRs and order-entry systems.

• The Director in Clinical Operations will be dedicated to the profitable growth of the firm’s Healthcare Payer Provider optimization group. • This individual will lead the design, development and implementation of large integrated (operational, clinical and financial improvement) optimization programs resulting in high performing health care operations. • He or she will manage multi-work stream programs to timeline / scope / budget across the larger platform. • The Director will work with Guidehouse specialty areas and partner with the client to deliver robust solutions/outcomes to generate positive revenue for Guidehouse in areas including performance improvement, supply chain, workforce productivity, non-labor productivity, clinical operations, shared services and/or revenue management. • The Director will participate in and help direct nationwide business development and relationship management activities for Guidehouse Healthcare clients requiring optimization.

• Accountable for providing leadership, strategic, operational planning and oversight of clinical trial operations for 1-2 indications within one compound • Develop operational strategies for implementation of clinical studies regionally/globally • Ensure consistent and successful execution of operational aspects of regional and global studies • Provide leadership to Clinical Operations staff and to project teams for vendor evaluation and quality-based oversight • Benchmark, track and report operational and study metrics

• Deliver training, workflow support, and best-practice recommendations • Act as a trusted advisor to clinical leaders, care managers, physicians, and operational teams • Support change management initiatives by helping customers adapt workflows and processes • Assess the operating environment, identify critical success factors and risks • Monitor adoption, identify gaps, and recommend optimization strategies • Translate clinical operations workflow requirements into solution configurations • Advise hospital users on integrating Qventus product features • Lead clinical discovery sessions to capture requirements and align capabilities • Collaborate with product, engineering, and implementation teams • Review program performance data and create performance improvement plans • Stay up-to-date on clinical standards and represent the company at industry events
