Medical Learning Officer

• Support the design, development, implementation and continuous improvement of medical learning solutions across MSF OCBA, contributing to strengthening the competencies of medical staff in the field and improving quality of care in humanitarian settings. • The Medical Learning Officer contributes to the development of learner-centred medical training solutions, including face-to-face, blended and digital formats. • The role translates technical medical knowledge into practical learning tools, coordinates learning projects, supports training delivery, and ensures alignment with operational priorities and medical guidelines. • The position works closely with technical referents, the Learning Unit and TEMBO teams to ensure relevant, accessible and high-quality learning solutions.
Job Requirements
- Medical degree, Nursing or Midwifery diploma is required.
- Additional training in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, Medical Education or Global Health will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of field experience with MSF or in similar humanitarian or low-resource contexts.
- Candidates without MSF experience will be considered if they demonstrate solid experience in instructional design, adult learning and training delivery within healthcare, humanitarian or international organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in learning design, training delivery, instructional design, and the development of learning materials for adult learners.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning methodologies, instructional design principles, and digital learning platforms (LMS), preferably Tembo or Totara.
- Experience coordinating learning projects and working with multiple stakeholders in multicultural or humanitarian environments.
- Knowledge of medical guidelines and humanitarian health contexts is required.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Spanish, Arabic and/or Portuguese will be considered an asset.
- Previous experience supporting capacity-building initiatives, blended learning programmes or digital learning projects will be considered an asset.
