The assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Reporting to the Foundation Director, you will participate in all phases of the investment cycle with emphasis on grant performance evaluation required for renewal or closing. The Grant Administrator manages the grant administration process for the Foundation and requires a high level of professionalism. You will also have frequent interaction with multiple partners, including internal associates, external partners, applicants, and grantees. You will serve in the community and within Humana, Inc., as ambassador for the Foundation strategy through collaboration with business market and philanthropy liaison and proactive participation in local philanthropy collaboratives and collectives. Additionally, you will provide support to the Director of Strategy and Foundation team. The Grant Administration Professional is a liaison with charitable organizations. Reporting to the Foundation Director, you will provide information to charitable organizations concerning multiple types of grants available and their associated reporting and administration. Responsibilities: - Participates in all phases of the investment cycle with emphasis on grant performance evaluation required for renewal or closing. - Serves as grant management process expert by using monitoring and reporting methods appropriate for identifying health of program activities. - Evaluates grantee progress toward milestone and outcomes across the following areas: program, policy, finance, governance, management and legal - Adjusts activities and strategies based on grantee evaluation and results - Incorporates quantitative and qualitative monitoring into grant management process to summarize grant progress - Recommends program modifications, extensions, to Foundation leadership and Board. - Ensure programs within the assigned portfolio follow processes that provide program delivery. These processes should also deliver appropriate grant outcomes and outputs, and support the data, publication, and influence goals of the Foundation.
