Role Description Louisiana Technology Group (LATG) is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will architect, design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable web-based applications while driving best practices across the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with software developers, architects, and engineering teams to build secure CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and strengthen our cloud infrastructure. Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of proven DevSecOps experience in enterprise environments. - Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines. - Minimum 1 year of experience deploying containerized applications to AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters. - Minimum 2 years of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration experience. - Minimum 2 years administering AWS GovCloud environments. - Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, secure software development, and infrastructure automation. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively. Requirements - CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Cloud+ certification. - Active Secret or Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or working with Navy data. - Experience using Git, GitLab, or other configuration management tools. - Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe development environments. - Experience using Atlassian JIRA or similar issue tracking platforms. - Additional cloud, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, AWS, or Agile certifications are a plus. • Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET automation tools, including console applications and Worker Services. • Build tooling that converts Excel-based device templates into structured CSV, configuration, or pipeline-ready outputs. • Develop and refine applied machine learning models for telemetry tag classification and template-field mapping. • Perform feature engineering and data preparation using messy historical industrial controls and telemetry datasets. • Prototype ML or data-processing approaches in Python when appropriate, then help transition production logic into the core C#/.NET stack. • Validate telemetry data quality and mapping accuracy across cloud-based data pipelines. • Work with Azure IoT, Event Hub, Kusto/KQL, and related data services to troubleshoot and verify end-to-end data flow. • Modify, maintain, and enhance existing databases, database structures, and legacy systems as needed. • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate scope, and deliver solutions from development through testing and release. • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes, improve onboarding efficiency, and increase automation reliability. • Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and make system changes to resolve defects or data-quality problems. • Write technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer so delivered tooling can be maintained long-term. • Mentor or support teammates through code reviews, technical guidance, and constructive feedback.
