Role Description LATG is seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to design, implement, and maintain complex web-based applications in a cloud-based environment. This role will work closely with development teams to support DevSecOps best practices, optimize system performance, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that support evolving customer requirements. Key Responsibilities - Architect, design, and develop scalable web-based applications. - Collaborate with software development teams to improve DevSecOps processes, workflows, and standards. - Design and implement security-focused solutions within development and deployment environments. - Perform security scanning, vulnerability remediation, release management, and operational support activities. - Develop and maintain front-end and back-end solutions in cloud-based environments. - Support application modernization efforts and continuous improvement initiatives. - Participate in system design reviews, technical planning, and architecture discussions. - Ensure compliance with organizational security and development standards. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience applying DevSecOps principles and best practices. - Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and projects. - Advanced proficiency with: - Java - JavaScript - SQL - Spring Boot - Oracle - HTML - jQuery - Bootstrap - Experience developing and supporting applications within AWS environments. - Experience designing secure, scalable enterprise solutions. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting government, defense, or highly regulated environments. - Familiarity with configuration management and version control tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. - Agile, SAFe, or similar software development methodology experience. - Experience using defect tracking and project management tools such as Atlassian Jira. - Experience supporting cloud migration or application modernization initiatives.
