• Develop support models and operations for reporting out team activity and summaries for executive committees. • Work closely with the Lead Director of Operational Analytics and the Lead Director of Process to identify reporting and operational gaps and work to provide solutions and implement. • Collaborate with analytic teams to develop progress and score reports for initiatives within the affordability purview. • Develop a risk identification and mitigation reporting process to share with executive leadership on overall program and project progress. • Assist in the development and promotion of workstream report outs. • Coordinate analytic needs with business teams to support the Strategists’ ideation process. • Create executive summaries and presentations to be shared up through the VP of Affordability. • Manage and coordinate support and materials across ideation, analytics, execution, and delivery processes within affordability. • Analyze the organization's project management practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance project efficiency and success. • Approve project plans, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations. • Attend project meetings and collaborate with multiple departments, fostering cross-functional collaboration and coordination to achieve project milestones. • Communicate direction and project goals to the project team, providing clear guidance and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. • Conduct project evaluations and assessments, monitoring progress, identifying risks and issues, and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track. • Consolidate information from various sources, synthesizing project data and insights to provide comprehensive reports and updates to stakeholders. • Lead strategic discussions with business units, platform teams, operations, vendors, and external partners to gather insights and guide clinical system requirements.
Job Requirements
- 7-12 years of direct healthcare experience in a large payor system with experience in project management, healthcare operations or strategy
- Strong project management skills, project planning, milestone and constituent management skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor with a comfort for deep hands-on work and the ability to execute
- Adept at development, execution, and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Adept at business intelligence, collaboration, and teamwork

Role Description This position is in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 6), Hampton, VA Medical Center (HVMAC), Office of Access and Transformation, which reports to the Office of the Director. This position is to provide complex and highly-skilled administrative and data support related to clinic profile management. Responsibilities - Data Collection and Analysis: - Involved in an extremely complex blend of computing technology, medical information, communication skills, and leadership qualities in a rapidly changing environment. - Must be well-versed in each database as successful navigation and manipulation are critical to success. - Possess vast computer knowledge in developing and capturing data from VISTA and other VA data sites to understand, analyze, and interpret clinical data at the team service and executive levels. - Clinic Set-up: - Responsible for all aspects of new clinic establishment in VISTA and provides guidance for clinic set-ups and groupings in VSE. - Ownership of the clinic profile request process for new clinic builds, as well as the actual building of clinics. - Expected to have an in-depth understanding of the complexities of clinic set-ups and provide technical guidance to ensure clinics operate as requested. - Clinic Maintenance (Clinic Modifications and Inactivations): - Own the entire workflow process for clinic cancellations and provide guidance for all services. - Review clinic modification, cancellation, remapping, deactivation, and reactivation requests, ensuring adherence to the National Scheduling Directive and local HVAMC policies. - Ensure timely review and approval actions occur for all modifications and clinic deactivation requests. - Clinic Profile Audit: - Review active clinics and provide detailed analysis of findings to management on an annual basis. - Audits may include data inquiries such as character nomenclature length, stop code validation, clinic location accuracy, and appointment letter relevance. - Perform audits using reports available in VISTA and the GPM SAT Tool, and assist with data validation of reported data. - Clinic Utilization Review: - Assist clinics and services in reviewing and understanding clinic utilization data using VISTA or VHA Support Service Center (VSSC) reports. - Review utilization reports to ensure adequate appointment availability and optimal percent utilization rates. - Training and Processes: - Research and identify training needs for HVAMC staff in areas of clinic cancellation and clinic profile requests. - Analyze training needs and make recommendations to supervisors, develop instruction, and conduct training. - Own and oversee the clinic cancellation request process and the clinic profile request process. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
