Delivery Manager – Project Delivery

• Own delivery across multiple concurrent engagements or workstreams. • Ensure consistency in delivery execution and reporting across teams. • Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and escalations to keep delivery on track. • Assess parallel or competing change initiatives that may cause change saturation, and develop strategies to minimize delivery risk. • Mentor Lead Project Managers and delivery teams on delivery practices and client engagement. • Model servant leadership and provide frequent, honest feedback that helps team members grow. • Assess and apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) based on engagement context. • Provide strategic, consultative guidance to clients, leveraging industry experience and best practices to help them achieve their business objectives. • Advocate for clients internally, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed effectively by cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, and support.

Job Requirements

  • 5–7 years of consulting or delivery experience.
  • 5–7 years of Agile / delivery methodology experience.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple teams or projects simultaneously.
  • Strong delivery governance and risk management experience.

Role Description GovCIO is currently hiring for a Curriculum Design and Development Lead to join the Military to Civilian Readiness (M2CR) Transition Assistance Program (TAP) team. The selected candidate will provide contracted support to the Department of Veterans Affairs in support of VA’s interagency TAP mission, including: - Curriculum development - Revision - Validation - Training support - Instructional design - Evaluation - Coordination with Government stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts The Curriculum Design and Development Lead will be a hands-on instructional design leader responsible for managing TAP curriculum projects and ensuring training products are accurate, engaging, accessible, and aligned to VA requirements.
