Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience in backend engineering, with proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages, preferably Python or Java. - Thorough understanding of Open API specifications and API standards. - Hands-on experience in the generation of SDKs and CLI tools. - Good experience with building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Buildkite), optimizing deployments, release process and maintaining high reliability through SLOs. - Exposure to SLO tracking tools such as Datadog, and log management solutions like AWS CloudWatch, Athena, Grafana. - Previous exposure to service-oriented architectures, microservices, or REST APIs. - Hands-on experience with making changes in production systems. - Ability to collaborate effectively within an agile, fast-paced team, understanding the full software development lifecycle. - Strong decision-making skills, balancing between the pros and cons of various cloud technologies, with a focus on making practical, scalable choices.
