Apprentice Product Manager
Role Description The Pinterest Apprenticeship Program is an opportunity for professionals from non-tech backgrounds and those who may face barriers of entry into the industry to experience Product Management at Pinterest. Apprenticeships are up to one year long with the opportunity to be considered for conversion to a full-time Product Manager. Employment throughout the program is at will, and while programs can be up to one year in length, there is no guarantee on the specific length of the program. What you’ll do: - Work alongside other Pinterest Product Managers and key partners on our Design, Research, and Engineering teams on a high-impact project. - Partner with cross-functional teams to help turn ideas into real product innovation. You’ll get direct experience assisting with defining product goals & requirements, driving insights & wins through experiments, and owning projects end-to-end. - Collaborate with an assigned mentor who will help you navigate the expectations of a Product Manager at Pinterest. - Leverage AI tools to optimize your workflow and to make cross-functional collaboration more productive and efficient. - Continually grow through various learning and development opportunities. Qualifications - Professionals from non-tech backgrounds, including but not limited to: product management bootcamp grads, candidates who are self-taught, and those who do not hold a related degree or professional experience in Product Management roles. - Self-motivated and proactive professionals pursuing a career in the tech industry who are curious to learn what it’s like to work and succeed as a Product Manager at Pinterest. - Has a learner and builder mindset: Able to quickly onboard to emerging AI tools and implement them appropriately in the full product development process with a focus on decision quality and efficiency. - 1+ years of experience working collaboratively and clearly communicating in a professional work environment preferred. - Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills with experience analyzing metrics and making data informed decisions. Requirements - Apprentices are expected to work full-time during business hours. As such, students currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program are not eligible for this position. - This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. - For this role, applicants must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Benefits - The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $9,350 - $11,000 monthly.
