U.S. HR Operations Specialist

Role Description We're looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented U.S. HR Operations Specialist to join our growing U.S. team at Exodigo. Reporting to the U.S. HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting and optimizing our day-to-day HR operations, ensuring our people, processes, and systems run efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys building scalable processes while delivering a seamless and positive employee experience. Responsibilities: - Employee Onboarding & Offboarding - Manage the onboarding process for US employees, contractors, and temporary hires. - Support employee offboarding processes, including documentation, equipment returns, and system access removal. - HRIS & Employee Data Management - Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and the PEO for the US team. - Conduct routine audits to ensure employee data accuracy and completeness. - Prepare HR reports, employee data requests, and workforce documentation. - Employee Support - Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, HR systems, policies, and HR processes. - Support benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and employee communications. - Coordinate leave of absence (LOA) administration and documentation in partnership with external providers and internal stakeholders. - US Compliance & Documentation - Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple US jurisdictions, including I-9 verification, E-Verify, background checks, and employment documentation. - Project-Based & Temporary Workforce Recruitment (As Needed) - Source and screen qualified temporary, seasonal, and contract field operations talent across the US based on project needs. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in HR Operations or HR Coordination, preferably within a fast-paced startup, technology, or infrastructure environment. - Experience working with HRIS, PEO platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with strong attention to data accuracy and system maintenance. - Working knowledge of multi-state US employment laws, onboarding requirements, and HR compliance best practices. - Experience supporting recruitment processes, preferably for temporary, seasonal, or contract positions. - Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships across teams and time zones. - Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
