As a Senior Microsoft Security Consultant within the Professional Services organization, you will have the opportunity to consult with and advise our valued enterprise and public sector clients on identity management and workplace security engagements. This role is responsible for leading the service delivery functions and technical teams involved with the planning, setup, configuration, and administration of identity management and workplace endpoint security solutions. What you’ll do: - Work closely with related teams on Microsoft Security and Identity Management implementation projects, including upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security policy design, administration, and user training. - Have a technical understanding of cloud security solutions including M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel. - Collaborate with co-workers, end-users, and vendor representatives on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS Teams, in accordance with contract SLAs. - Mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers, and Technicians on the team, providing guidance on technical and soft skills. - Function as a technical expert with strong customer interaction skills, advising on, implementing, and managing complex solution and service deployments for clients. - Have a hunger for learning, pursuing relevant certifications and training for Microsoft Endpoint Security and Identity Management. - Serve as a technical authority and subject matter expert for Softchoice, supporting other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements. - Be a role model for our values of personal growth, customer passion, taking care of others, and owning the end result. - Work in a highly visible customer-facing role. - Support a detailed, actionable Statement of Work with architects, engineers, and project managers. - Stay on top of new trends and technology updates. - Continuously fine-tune delivery, adoption, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications - A curious mindset, willing to ask the right questions to provide customers with the best possible solution. - A problem solver with the capability to uncover and address the root cause of an issue. - A proactive work ethic that prioritizes responsiveness to customers. - Passion for building strong relationships with customers and driving great customer experience. - Computer Science / Information Technology degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience. - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. - 5+ years’ work experience in a client-facing professional services role, or 7+ years of related industry experience. - Updated Certifications and training to include; Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate, and Security Administrator Associate. Compensation A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $99,750 to $133,000 annually + 14% as target incentives. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
