Role Description This position is remote. The candidate must possess strong software engineering skills and a strong development background to build Web Applications. Responsibilities include: - Building the SOA web service, leveraging Spring security, OAuth, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols. - Designing and developing Java / J2EE applications. - Executing test plans. - Coordinating, implementing, and deploying software in multiple environments. - Contributing to end-to-end design, development, and delivery activities to implement secure data exchange infrastructure application solutions. Qualifications - Strong experience in building complex enterprise applications using JAVA / J2EE technologies. - Experience in developing Web Services using Spring Web Service. - Experience in developing front end using Vue JS or Angular. - Experience with IDEs like Eclipse, Visual Studio, Spring Suite, etc. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. - Experience in implementing Java/J2EE solutions using JBoss and Tomcat. - Strong JDBC programming experience using Open JPA and other ORM tools like Spring Hibernate. - Strong SQL and Database Programming Skills using Oracle/PostgreSQL. - Experience with SOA principles, design patterns, and integration patterns. - SOA governance experience, involving design with common integration patterns and reusable modules. - Build/Dependency Management - GIT or Azure DevOps. - Security Frameworks - Web service Security and Java Security. - Participation in strategic initiatives relating to system development and enhancements. - Contribution to system delivery specifications and technical design specifications. - Development and testing of components as per specifications. - Participation in all phases of projects. - Management of individual tasks and deliverables to complete projects on schedule. - Execution on design and development consistent with approved enterprise architecture concepts, principles, and frameworks. - Close collaboration with the team and demonstration of leadership activity in development. Requirements - Web Servers - JBOSS and/or other JEE Application Servers. - Database - Oracle, PL/SQL Stored Procedures. - Operating Systems and Environments - Unix/Linux, Windows. - Application Architecture and Design - Enterprise Integration Patterns; Object-oriented Programming; Aspect Oriented Programming; Java Design Patterns; SOA Architecture/Design. - Proven ability in application design and development of enterprise solutions. - Expert understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution, and planning. - Understanding in User Interface design and web-based technologies. - Understanding in service-oriented development and best practices. - Deep understanding of distributed systems. - Familiarity with fundamentals of automated build processes and source code control systems.
