We are trusted by Universal Music Group, Sony, Warner, and Apple Music, as well as hundreds of other music companies and industry professionals. Our team has created a self-service data dashboard for the music industry to better understand the activity happening around artists. Together, we combine hundreds of thousands of real-time data points across iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Google, Amazon, X, and others through our beautifully designed tool in order to make sense of the increasingly complex landscape of the music industry. We’re looking for a senior product manager who thinks like an analyst, operates like an owner, and moves fast. This is an individual contributor role. This role is ideal for someone who started their career deep in data analytics before transitioning into product management. Someone who is equally comfortable digging through datasets & writing queries & automation scripts, talking to customers, shaping strategy, and shipping product. Please note this is a hybrid position for either our San Mateo, CA, or New York, NY office. You should have strong instincts around data products, audience behavior, and AI tooling — ideally within sports, music, ticketing, live events, pricing, media, or entertainment ecosystems. Most importantly: we want a go-getter. Someone highly proactive, resourceful, curious, AI-forward, and obsessed with getting things done. What you'll do - Drive the roadmap and execution of key problem areas and opportunity areas at Chartmetric - Engage with customers to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and business decisions - Translate ambiguous problems into scalable product opportunities - Partner closely with engineering, data, and customer support teams - Create user analytics dashboards and music analytics dashboards - Use AI-native workflows/tools to move faster: prototype ideas, and execute ideas to solutions - Drive momentum & rapid iteration in fast-moving environments - You are always looking for opportunities to automate or toolify manually repetitive workflows What We're Looking For - 4+ years in Product Management, ideally focused on data-heavy or analytics products - Earlier career experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar roles - Strong SQL/data fluency and analytical rigor - Very much comfortable with building AI proof of concepts using LLM APIs, scripts and AI assisted development - You naturally jump into problems instead of waiting for perfect direction - Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills - Ability to operate “full stack” across customer discovery, execution & analytics - Highly self-directed with strong ownership mentality - AI-forward: you actively use modern AI tools to think, work, analyze, and build faster - You can ship things fast, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty to QA and test rigorously Bonus Points - Experience with revenue, ticketing, pricing, forecasting, audience, or monetization datasets is a major plus - Familiarity with sports business, live entertainment economics, or fan engagement ecosystems - Experience building internal analytics tools, customer-facing dashboards, or AI-assisted workflows - Startup or high-growth company experience. - Familiarity with Clickhouse / Snowflake or equivalent data warehousing technologies and AWS Why This Role - You’ll help shape the next generation of intelligence products at the intersection of data, AI, music, sports, entertainment, and audience growth, turning massive amounts of fragmented data into products customers actually act on.
