• Leads administration, governance, and operational management of an enterprise Databricks environments. • Serves as a technical advisor to stakeholders by shaping platform design decisions, operational policies, and best practices for scalable and well-governed data product development. • Focuses on platform operations, and helps improve how the platform is structured, governed, and used across teams. • Collects and analyzes data and develops decision support software, service, or products. • Develops and supplies optimal time, cost, or logistics networks/solutions for program evaluation, review, or implementation. • Supports other data analysis and coding efforts in support of project. • Identifies solutions based on business and technical criteria, analyzes alternatives, and implements designs. • Research current and emerging technologies and process methodologies and proposes changes and tailoring where needed. • Administer and maintain Databricks workspaces, catalogs, schemas, storage integrations, and platform configurations. • Troubleshoots platform issues related to permissions, connectivity, compute usage, storage access, workspace administration, and job execution. • Supports cost optimization efforts by recommending best practices for workload management, scheduling, and efficient resource usage. • Participates in platform design discussions, architecture reviews, and operational planning to improve scalability, maintainability, and governance maturity. • Creates and maintains documentation, standards, runbooks, and repeatable operating procedures for platform administration and governed delivery. • Provides platform-level guidance for adjacent analytics and AI capabilities in alignment with governance and operational standards as needed. • Coaches and provides guidance to less experienced professionals.
Job Requirements
- 3 + years of related experience
- Technical training/certification(s) and 5+ years of Databricks administration, platform engineering, or data engineering operations
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Databricks in an enterprise environment
- Practical experience using Python in support of pipeline troubleshooting, platform standards, and engineering collaboration
- Able to adapt to both changing business and client needs, and a changing technical environment
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative in design and thought, when appropriate to meet business needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferred experience with case tracking system data entry, resolution of data issues, and other related troubleshooting.

Role Description BAE Systems is seeking a Principal Contract Administrator to join its organization. You will lead the proposal, negotiation, and management of complex proposal and contract activities in accordance with company policies, legal and customer requirements with limited guidance or supervision from the Contracts Manager. - Interpret and communicate business commitments and alternatives to program team and management. - Possess extensive knowledge of government and commercial contracting methods, applicable laws and regulations. - Perform strong communication and relationship management skills to develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers. Responsibilities: - Maintain an in-depth knowledge and working understanding of the US Government Acquisition and Procurement environment, the BAE Systems Contracts function and relevant company policies and procedures, commercial contracting methods, FAR/DFAR, export and other government regulations. - Independently lead and support proposal activities including: - Analysis of solicitations. - Preparing summaries and developing strategies and recommendations based on the analysis, with attention to financial and business risk. - Participating in all proposal team meetings. - Preparing the terms, conditions and assumptions upon which the proposal may be submitted. - Reviewing the technical and pricing proposals for accuracy and consistency. - Conducting overall business risk analysis. - Preparing the proposal documents for submittal to the Customer. - Research and make recommendations on proposal and contract language. - Ensure that all necessary functions review recommendations and terms, with minimal direction and guidance needed from the Contracts Manager. - Lead contract negotiations and collaborate with customers in definitizing and completing the contract under general guidance from the Contracts Manager. - Advise management of contractual rights and obligations, risk mitigation alternatives and business strategy. - Perform all aspects of assigned contract or purchase order processing including: - Accuracy of order entry data. - Contract funding. - Scope changes. - Contract amendments. - Receipts and delivery schedules. - Legal requirements and other commitments. - Lead or support fact-finding and other audit activities. - Participate in final stages of assigned contract by: - Verifying completion of all commitments. - Performing assigned activities associated with contract closeout. - Maintain logs of proposals and other data as required and assist in data collection for monthly/quarterly reporting to Management. - Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures. - Primary point of contact between the Company and the Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts and projects including auxiliary agreements such as Proprietary Information Agreements and other business agreements. - Participate in the drafting and negotiation of various agreements, and coordinate any legal reviews as appropriate on behalf of the business supported. - Support Program managers, Program/Operations Management, and Business Area leads and provide contracts advice and counsel to company management at all levels as required. - Develop specialized contracting knowledge in areas such as International Business, Offset and Teaming Agreements. - Regularly contribute to the development and implementation of new business methods, processes and contracting concepts in order to achieve business unit and Contracts Department goals and objectives. - May be required by supervisory personnel to prepare contract summaries to assure proper interpretation of the contracts(s), perform cost or price analysis and resolution of complex business issues on a special assignment basis.
