Role Description Licensed Health Insurance Agent - Location: Remote (U.S. – must have or obtain Virginia license) - Pay: $22–23/hour Work Environment - 100% remote call center environment - High-volume inbound and outbound sales calls - Equipment provided by employer - Fast-paced, performance-driven team culture Schedule - August–September: Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm (8–5 or 9–6 shifts) - October–March: Monday–Sunday, 8am–8pm - Required to work 2 weekends per month during peak season - Shift options include 8–5, 9–6, 10–7, 11–8 Compensation and Benefits - Pay Rate: $22–23/hour - Duration: 7 months (with potential extension/conversion) - If eligible, benefits may include: - Medical, Dental, Vision - Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital coverage - 401(k) Retirement Plan (Pre tax and Roth post tax contributions available) - Voluntary Life & AD&D (employee + dependents) - Short term and long term disability - Health Spending Account (HSA) - Transportation benefits - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Time Off / Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) About the Role - Support Medicare and Medicaid-eligible members with plan enrollment decisions - Focus primarily on Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNP) before transitioning to Individual plans during open enrollment season - Assist in a large-scale initiative to align members to appropriate health plans under updated state regulations - Opportunity to gain experience in both government and marketplace insurance products Key Responsibilities - Handle inbound calls from prospective members evaluating plan options - Assess eligibility for DSNP and Individual plans - Educate customers on coverage options and benefits - Provide quotes and complete enrollments - Conduct outbound calls for member outreach, retention, and enrollment campaigns - Maintain compliance with CMS and regulatory requirements - Meet performance goals including sales conversions and enrollments Qualifications - Active or eligible Virginia Health Insurance License - Medicare sales experience - Call center or telesales experience - Strong communication and customer service skills - Comfortable with high-volume call environment Nice to Have Skills - Medicaid or DSNP experience - CMS / AHIP certification - Marketplace/Individual plan experience - Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook) - Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems efficiently Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of VIRGINIA BEACH, VA.
