Summary Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a full-time hourly Contact Center Lending Specialist to work out of our East Bremerton location. This position is responsible for creating member loyalty by providing exceptional service and deepening member relationships by cross-selling all products and services and demonstrating digital and self-serve options. Quick Facts Reports to: Contact Center Lending Manager Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Hourly, In-person/Hybrid eligible Salary Range: $28.29 to $34.09 an hour depending on experience Working hours: Monday – Friday 8am - 6pm, Saturdays 9am - 4pm Grade: 7BC Industry: Banking Job Functions:â¯Sales, Lending, Administrative Support Typical Job Duties - Answer inbound calls from members or prospects. Effectively work online lending queue to ensure quick turnaround on pending applications. - Complete entire account review during time of application to look for cross sell opportunities of KCU products to create more fully engaged members. - Achieve lending and sales goals while meeting standards for quality; may include inbound and/or outbound calling. - Communicate loan decisions to applicants, provide loan counseling and/or alternative lending solutions as needed. - Accurately and efficiently prepare loan documentation and fund loans according to policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintain a high level of confidentiality relative to any information received directly or indirectly. Basic Qualifications - High school diploma or GED. - One year of experience in a financial institution performing teller, new accounts, and account maintenance. - One year of consumer lending (personal, Auto and Credit Cards) experience. - Availability during Saturdays and extended business hours. - Must be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) within 30 days of hire and comply with the SAFE Act regulations. Preferred Qualifications - An understanding of credit fundamentals and underwriting criteria preferred. Role Description The position of the Virtual Call Center Agent (outbound market research) consists of conducting telephone research interviews and recording the results in our data collection system. Seek and provide information to help our clients meet with business needs in the multifamily industry. - Collect data on property key data points - Record results into our internal data collection system - Conduct efficient and accurate online research using various tools available - Understand importance of key industry data points being gathered - Confirm and update information in our data collection system - Follow strict guidelines for obtaining consistent unbiased data - Meet stringent quality assessments standards and work monitoring requirements - Cooperate with co-workers and management while working toward department goal - Maintain center standards for performance and productivity - Follow all center policies and procedures as outlined in the call center policy addendum Qualifications - Reliable, punctual, and able to follow assigned schedules consistently - Clear, confident, and engaging phone communication skills - Personable, with the ability to quickly build rapport and encourage participation - Coachable, goal-oriented, and open to feedback and performance monitoring - Fast learner with the ability to explain information in simple terms - Flexible and willing to handle various tasks as needed - Must have own PC (desktop or laptop), noise-cancelling headset, and stable internet connection with backup (prepaid wireless modem acceptable) - At least 6 months of call center experience, preferably in outbound calling, market research, or similar roles - Strong English communication skills (conversational to fluent), with good reading comprehension - Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and typing skills - Must be comfortable working graveyard shifts and in a permanent work-from-home setup - Quiet, distraction-free workspace and ability to remain on calls for extended periods Benefits - PHP 21,000 monthly salary - Fully remote setup - Structured training and growth within operations
