NOC Engineer
Boldyn Networks
This role will ensure the networks we manage exceed the expectations of our clients. We’re on the lookout for a knowledgeable and customer-orientated Network Engineer. Providing exceptional customer service. Proficient in utilizing a PC and familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite. Responding to emergency outages promptly. Administration: Configure, administer, and document custom policies for Network Access Controls. Security guidelines: Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all incidents. Design: Analyze, design, and implement network access control solutions based on industry best practices. Support: Provide support for Cisco ISE, Firepower, ASA, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewall engineering, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and management. Collaborating within Operations to resolve end-user and network escalations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues. Monitoring, investigating, and actioning equipment alarms. Collaborating with Boldyn Networks on customer installation activities as required and contributing to project-related tasks as assigned. Tracking and updating escalation tickets. Ensuring that Boldyn Networks policies and end-user agreement are upheld. Assisting in your region as assigned. Attending training events. Obtaining required certifications. Completing additional reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks as required.
Job Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Familiarity with Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Experience in effectively diagnosing and resolving network outages (layers 1-3).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, CWT, CWNA.
- 1-3 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure.
- Deeply ingrained self-motivation; motivated to get work done efficiently.
- Technical aptitude; ability to quickly learn, assess issues, and apply knowledge effectively.
- Communication and prioritization; triaging customer needs and addressing concerns.
- Taking initiative; respond quickly and appropriately to requests from internal and external customers.
- Physical requirements; ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- On-call environment; may need to work weekends, holidays, or outside of normal hours.
- Travel; occasional travel to Austin, TX for training, projects, and other campuses.

As a Cost Estimating Lead - Remote you will support APX Delivery by leading the development of high-quality, compliant project cost estimates for proposals and contracts. You will oversee major elements of the estimate, provide input to detailed Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation, and ensure understanding across technical, schedule, and cost inputs. You will play a critical role in standardization and continuous improvement within the APX Project Delivery and Commercial Integration organization. Review solicitations and coordinate with proposal teams to support estimating requirements and proposal strategies. Coordinate cost volumes and support proposal narrative development, ensuring consistency between technical and cost volumes.
