Role Description We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist to work remotely during Canada eastern time, to manage and support the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process. This role will work closely with hiring managers, candidates, and HR team members to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for all involved. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, managing offer letters, and guiding new hires through their onboarding journey. Your efforts will play a key role in shaping a strong and welcoming employer brand. Key Responsibilities: - Recruiting: - Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create compelling job descriptions. - Post job openings on internal and external job boards, and manage candidate pipelines. - Source, screen, and shortlist qualified candidates using various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, referrals). - Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and internal teams. - Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience. - Support offer and negotiation processes; generate and send offer letters and coordinate background checks. - Onboarding: - Manage pre-boarding activities including paperwork, system access, and equipment requests. - Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations. - Create and maintain onboarding documentation, checklists, and schedules. - Ensure new hires are set up with tools, systems, and introductions on day one. - Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their first weeks, answering questions and providing support. - Collaborate with other departments (IT, Facilities, Payroll) to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. - Fully Bilingual English and French. - 2+ years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or a related role. - Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Greenhouse, Workday). - Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - High attention to detail and strong follow-through. - Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
