Tax Manager

• Identify, design and implement opportunities to recover accumulated or out-of-period ICMS credits (including ICMS-ST, credits related to fixed assets, energy, transportation, and special regimes). • Develop and structure complex tax planning and fiscal models focused on interstate operations, logistics and supply chain restructurings. • Continuously monitor jurisprudence (STF — Supreme Federal Court, STJ — Superior Court of Justice, and State Administrative Courts) to develop and defend new theses and creative approaches to tax efficiency. • Lead end-to-end execution of recovery projects, ensuring delivery of reports, validation of digital files (SPED Fiscal, CAT 42, e-Ressarcimento, etc.) and alignment with senior management. • Assess the legal certainty of proposed operations, balancing the pursuit of tax efficiency (creativity) with the governance and compliance required by law.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting or Business Administration
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in Tax Law or Tax Management is a significant plus
- Proven experience leading tax consulting projects or holding corporate management positions focused on indirect taxes (ICMS)
- Deep knowledge of ICMS legislation (state regulations, ICMS/CONFAZ agreements) and mechanisms for recognition and monetization of credits
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex tax scenarios into executive presentations and clear reports for decision-makers

Role Description We are looking for an experienced and proactive Credit Controller to join our Finance team. You will play a vital role in managing outstanding debt, resolving queries efficiently, and working collaboratively with both internal stakeholders and external customers, primarily Schools and Trusts. We're looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead our credit control function within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
