Inspector – Asset Management
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc.
• Conduct annual inspections for multifamily, senior housing, and commercial properties in compliance with JLL's best practices and the requirements of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Correspondent Investors. • Identify and communicate potential risks to the lender, collaborating with analysts and asset managers to develop and monitor mitigation strategies. • Stay informed about market conditions and local sub-market dynamics for properties being inspected. • Assist with training programs for analysts and asset managers, ensuring their certification as quality inspectors through onsite and classroom training. • Collaborate effectively with Asset Management and Business Enablement teams.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience performing at least 100 multifamily property inspections.
- Certified to conduct inspections for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Life Companies.
- Successful completion of the MBA's Inspection Course.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal, writing, and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under demanding deadlines.
- Proven track record of excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Ability to identify and assess risks.
- Detail-oriented with strong self-auditing abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams.
- Strong presentation skills and passion for teaching others.

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards • Build trust with dealer clients through consistent quality, professionalism, and responsiveness • Educate clients on the value of Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection services • Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports • Collaborate closely with Wholesale Specialists and other Manheim teams to support client success
• Perform in-depth evaluations of electrical infrastructure in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities • Dedicate to industrial power system assessments, electrical building inspections, safety evaluations, and compliance verification • Assess the condition, code compliance, and reliability of industrial and mission-critical electrical power systems • Review and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, and as-built drawings to verify field accuracy • Verify adherence to NFPA, NEC, OSHA, IEEE, and client-specific safety standards • Perform arc flash safety assessments, arc flash hazard and study reviews, and compliance inspections • Conduct visual inspections and infrared thermography to identify hot spots, loose connections, or load imbalances • Conduct operational checks on UPS systems and battery banks, reviewing maintenance logs and runtime conditions • Deliver clear, detailed written reports with photographic documentation, highlighting deficiencies, risks, and corrective actions • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, explaining findings in accessible, actionable terms
