Role Description As a Motor Pricing Actuary, you will deliver pricing and portfolio analysis work across the UK & Rest of Europe scope (excluding France). Your core objective is to secure profitability and strengthen technical portfolio management through robust pricing, performance monitoring, and actionable recommendations. You will operate with a high level of autonomy, taking ownership of projects end-to-end — from analysis and recommendation to deliverables ready for committee review and implementation. Responsibilities - End-to-End Pricing & Portfolio Projects: - New contract pricing: profitability analyses, scenario testing, and pricing recommendations tailored to partner needs and constraints. - Optimisation of existing portfolios: performance diagnostics, identification of key drivers (mix effects, claims trends, inflation, drifts), pricing action proposals, and impact monitoring over time. - Pricing tools & technical assets: maintenance and targeted improvements of datasets, models, scripts, and profitability reports, ensuring quality, consistency of definitions, and reproducibility. - Partner reviews & committees: preparation of review packs and quantified analyses to support partner discussions and internal governance.
