• Verify that content and results in the software are clinically and professionally correct and displayed as expected in everyday dental practice • Test the software from the perspective of a dental practice — from data entry to the final result • Check that professional requirements are correctly implemented in the software and that practice workflows are effectively supported • Prioritize, document, and track defects • Support the support team in analyzing customer reports, reproducing issues, and identifying root causes • Contribute your practical expertise from day-to-day practice as a liaison between development, product, and support • Collaborate in an agile team of software developers, product managers, testers, and support colleagues
Job Requirements
- Fluent German and good English for collaboration with colleagues in other countries
- Several years of experience in dental billing as well as in administrative and organizational practice workflows
- Solid understanding of statutory (GKV) and private (PKV) billing
- Strong willingness to learn, initiative, and interest in digital solutions
- High affinity for software and motivation to grow into the field of software testing
- Ability to understand practice workflows and identify errors or inconsistencies
- Experience with practice management systems is an advantage
- Qualification as a ZMV or as a business administrator for dental practices is an advantage
- Structured, meticulous, and self-directed working style

Role Description The QA Software Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications before release. This role involves: - Designing, documenting, and executing manual and automated test cases. - Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs through defect tracking systems. - Performing regression, functional, integration, and performance testing. - Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. - Reviewing software requirements and technical specifications for clarity and testability. - Participating in sprint planning and contributing to quality assurance process improvements. - Verifying fixes and validating that resolved issues meet expected outcomes. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar quality assurance role. - Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA. - Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Requirements - Experience with API testing and automation frameworks (preferred). - Basic knowledge of SQL and version control (e.g., Git) (preferred). - ISTQB or similar certification is a plus (preferred). - Comfortable working U.S. hours.
