Strategic Projects Lead

NextStep

As Strategic Projects Lead, you'll take the company's most important initiatives from "good idea" to "actually happening." You will: Own 3-5 make-or-break projects at any time, including launching new products, entering new markets, or restructuring operations Work directly with the CEO and leadership team to scope what success looks like and how to get there Pull together the right people from across the company and keep them focused on what matters Build the business case and financial models that justify why the project is worth doing Run project workstreams, track milestones, and adjust plans when reality hits Spot the issues that will derail the project in two months and solve them today Present progress and recommendations to the Board and executive team Turn one-off projects into repeatable processes that the company can use again

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in consulting (MBB, Big 4, or boutique firms)
  • 3-5+ years delivering strategic projects, transformations, or new business initiatives
  • Experience taking messy, ambiguous problems and turning them into clear action plans
  • Strong analytical skills (you can build models, crunch data, and find the insight that matters)
  • The ability to influence senior people without formal authority over them
  • Great at explaining complex topics simply, whether in a deck or a conversation
  • Comfortable when priorities shift and you need to figure things out as you go
